Great episode . . . here's the details (sorry no photos)

The post debate campaign is ramping up and hot new issues appear out of nowhere in true West Wing form.

It's Saturday morning at the White House. CJ has come in to help President Bartlett's daughter with wedding details but has to leave as she was getting started to hear about a new international crisis. It seems that an oil deal between one of the Russian republics and China has gone bad. Russia and China are squaring off and China is beginning to mass troops at the border.

Meanwhile, Congressman Santos, has his own firestorm to deal with. He is scheduled to speak at the black church in LA. On Friday night a 12 year old black boy was fatally shot by a latino LAPD officer. The boy had stolen a car and had a gun that "looked" real. Speaking at the church n now was a no win political situation, but they are committed so he has to show. The question is what does a Latino candidate for president say.

Josh puts in a request with CJ for Bartlett to cover, but it's too short of notice. While in DC, Josh calls in on Tody at his apartment. The two have words and ultimately Tody tells Josh that Santos doesn't have what it takes to deal with the tough issues and make the tough decisions.

Sunday morning, the speach is delivered to Santos who promptly puts it in the trash can. He doesn't know what to say yet, but knows it must come from the heart. He arrives at the church to a polite but chilly welcome.

It's awkward as he takes the pulpit. He begins to speak. He says his prayers are with the family of the 12 year old boy . . . and with the officer and his family, not because the officer has experienced a loss but because of the pain and heavy burden he has. He says he thinks about what happened and wants to place blame. Was it the kid's fault for stealing the car? Was it the kid's parents fault? Why couldn't the officer waited one more second? His heart filled with rage. He recalled Dr. King's plea for more compassion. He acknowledged that it had been a long time and still the streets are not safe, that people were tired of waiting (now he was beginning to connect as heads began to nod) . He finished the speach be appealing to everyone the need for more compassion, that it was the only way to make progress as slow as it would be. As he finished his speach and left the church, he had faced the tough issue with leadership and everyone felt good about it.

We are ...No Wings due to a Magic special on TV

We are ...However......... a special report on North Korea. Really have compassion for the folks in North Korea. So many people live under oppression.

On Extreme make over,,,,, a father lost his arm while fishing for lobster for his family. So they built his family a house and his two daughters. Were great kids. The seven year old,,,,wants to save the rain forest and so they made her room the rain forest. The teen daughter loved to dance so she got a dance studio in her basement.

She loved polk-a-dots so they had weird Al sing to her and made her think her room was going to be all about poka...he was playing
his acoridan and she was like what is this?? then was surpirse that all her furniture in her room was round including her bed and all her piillows on her bed were round and it was in all pastels it was really pretty.

The seven year old wanted a safe boat for her dad so for her birthday, she got the safe boat for her dad.

I love that show. We need more shows like this one. There is plenty of people who want to do good in the world. They resotre my faith in mankind and womankind. So I thought you'd enjoy a narriative of that show since wings will be back next week.

We are ...The great debate was not all that great!

After plugging the tv into the car and watching wing by candle light due to windstorm. (we are dedicated to serving your west wing needs) the debate was very anti-climatic.
They went around and around on education. and I felt the whole thing was a chance for the writer to have a field day to write into the script what they would want to have the country due.

Vinnik said that head start did not work. So get rid of it. Santos head start works needs some fine tuning. Santos charter schools so parents can choose. Vinnik against education programs that take away education moeny from public schools.

The whole show was rather dry I thought. The whole show was the debate with viewers to vote who won the debate. It was a draw in my opinion. Vinnik had good points and so did Santos.
Santos had an idea to offer medicare to the entire nation because it is more effective and cost effectient that most hmos. Which I fine hard to believe. Get ya an up date from this week. It should be better. Adam was sick this weekend. So hopefully we'll get better info to you.

West Wing
Tody is out of the white house and the poindexter guy who ran the vp campaign is now taking Toby's job which includes meeting with the press. CJ doesn't have him briefed about the situation of the leek and Toby out of the white house. Of course that is all the press want to talk about. You'll like this line. The new guy goes to CJ and says the press are slamming me. She says you did fine and walks away. He says I feel like I'm the Jamiacain Bobsled team! He goes out to get slammed by the press and the press says when are you going to brief us on the leek and he has an uncomfortable pause and says... I'm not and the questions slowly turn to other topics.

A smear campaign by a group of supporter for Vinic run ads taking a interview with Santos out of contents saying he is for all abortions. The Catholic bishop in his district is told not to give him communion because of his abortion stand. He meets up with the head of freedom of choice and ask her do you believe in abortion if the baby is not the right sex. She replies no. Do you beieve in abortion if the baby doesn't have a great IQ? She says no. Then
abortion is an individual comfort level. He states that he thinks there are way too many abortion. He politely tells her if she has a problem with that that she should vote for however she wants.
Leo is watching all this and holding his breath. Santos campaign needed a 40ish soccer mom to run and rebuttal to the smear campaign and the dark hair ball of fire working the campaign hires Josh's Donna to do the rebuttal. Josh his upset that Donna is hired and the dark haired girl corners Josh and Donna into a room to bury their differences she says Donna did the spot great and you two need to "get over your difference" Josh says you left to work for another campaign and wrote smear ads against Santos. I mentored you and you left me. Donna, ya you kept my career from moving forward because I knew that you liked you hamberger to be cooked so they looked like hockey pucks. You did not want to move forward in my own career. They keep bickering and they something comes up and they are interrupted. Final scene...Vinic and Santos are preparing to go on stage fromtwo adjacent kitchen doors at this huge hotel in New York. While waiting to be introduce they start sparring in regards to the smear campaign. Santos suggest a debate. They agree to a debut and no more smear campaigns. So next sunday is debut sunday.

Sad Wing

Starts out with toby admitting he is the leak and they isolate him in a room by himself. He starts getting asked all these questions and u get the idea that he is in real trouble. On the campaign trial there is some talk about how Santos isn’t making any ground and that they should start to fire some of the under experienced staff. Back at the white house, toby’s lawyer shows up and tells him if he wants her to stay on the case then he must listen to her. They then go to the president who is relaxing with his wife, daughter, and his daughter’s fiancé. He finds out that his daughter is pregnant and that they want to get married asap. So now that he is in a great mood CJ and the head white house lawyer tell him that toby is the leak. Over to Santos, Josh tells Santos they need to fire about 45 people (including a few of Santos close aids from his days in congress). He agrees and tells josh to fire the people instead of doing it himself. Josh tells one of Santos closest aids and he gets pissed and stays the campaign is slow not because of him but because of josh. Back at the white house toby meets with the president and barlett is pissed off hard. There is a development with a couple of world leaders getting assassinated. More to come later on that. The show ends with Toby being escorted out of the white house. Very sad

ANOTHER GREAT SHOW BUT WAS DIFFICULT TO WATCH BECAUSE EXTREME MAKE OVER WAS FOR A FAMILY A MOM AND DAD AND TWO KIDS (COLLEGE AGE) THAT HAVE RUN A CAMP FOR ALL KINDS OF SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS FOR 15 YEARS AND PUT NO MONEY INTO THEIR HOUSE BUT KEPT THIS CAMP RUNN THROUGH THE GRACE OF GOD. THEY SENT THE FAMILY TO VACATION IN MERTLE BEACH THEN THEY TORCHED THEIR HOUSE AS A CAMPFIRE AND HAD ALL THE SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS SINGING CAMPFIRE SONGS AND THEY EXTREMEM MAKE OVER BUILT A HUGE HOUSE AND A SEPARTE BUNK HOUSE FOR VOLUNTEERS. ANT A THIRD BUILDING FOR RAINY DAYS. IT WAS AWESOME. 

TOBY SAYS I GOT AN ATTORNEY..... 

TOBY AT THE VERY END COMES IN TO CJ OFFICE TO SAY THAT SHE SHOULD GET A LAWYER BUT THEN SHE SAYS LEO IS IN TROUBLE ...HE GOT SERVED....TOBY I KNOW .....I DID IT (MEANING THE LEEK) 

SANTOS HITS THE BALL OUT OF THE PARK. STATING THAT EVOLUTION SHOULD BE TAUGHT IN THE SCHOOLS BECAUSE IS SCEINTIFIC BUT THAT CREATIONISM IS BASED ON FAITH. IF PEOPLE DON'T LIKE WHAT IS BEING TUAGHT TO THEIR KIDS THEY THEY NEED TO GET ON THE SCHOOL BOARD AND CHANGE THINGS BECAUSE OUR DEMOCRACY WAS FOUNDED ON THE IDEA OF SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE SO THAT I CAN PRACTICE MY FAITH AND YOU CAN PRACTICE YOURS AND WE CAN LIVE IN HARMONY. IT WAS A DIFFICULT CONCEPT TO PUT IN PRACTICE THEN AND IT STILL IS NOW. BUT THAT IS WHY OUR FRAMERS WERE SO GREAT!

SANTOS HAD MENTIONED THAT HE IS CATHOLIC AND THAT HE DOES BELIEVE IN GOD AND HE BELIEVES HIM TO BE A CREATIVE IN DESIGN. IT'S CUTE HOW HE PUTS THINGS-THEY ARE MAKING VINIC TO BE REALLY ANTI-CHRISTIAN. 

THIS IS THE MIDDLE EAST KNOW IT ALL WHO DID NOT TAKE THE ASSINATION ATTEMPTS SERIOUS. 

HEAD OF THE PALENTINE IS ASSININATED AND HE WAS GOOD FRIENDS WITH THE PRESIDENT. PRESIDENT FIND OUT AND IS BESIDE HIMSELF YET MUST CONTINUE WITH HIS DAY HE MUST GO TO THE KENNEDYART CENTER FOR A CONCERT AND ASK THE AUDIENCE TO REMEMBER THE 7 STUDENTS THAT WERE KILLED WITH HIS FRIEND. NEW GUY MR. FOSTER TRIES TO GET TO THE WHITE HOUSE WITH NEWS OF MORE ASSISNIATIONS TO TAKE PLACE THE BLONDE MIDDLE EAST KNOW IT ALL GIRL DOESN'T TAKE HIM SERIOUS AT THE END OF THE SHOW ANOTHER ASSISINATION HAS TAKEN PLACE. 

OOPS CJ NOT CH 

CH STAYED UP ALL NIGHT AGAIN GETTING ALL THE WORK DONE SINCE SHE LIVING ON COFFEE AND NOT SLEEP HER SECRETARY IS IN FRONT OF THE CONGRESS COUNSEL QUESTIONING ABOUT THE LEEK .....HER SECRETARY IS GONE ALL DAY AND IT'S WEARING ON JC ALL DAY. THINGS DON'T LET UP FOR HER FOR A SECOND SHE TRIES TO GET TEN MINUTES OF SLEEP AND TOBY COMES WALKING IN AND SHE GRAB HER PURSE TO GO GET A COFFEE AND GEORGE COMES IN AND SAYS LET ME GET IT FOR YOU. SHE'S READY TO EXPLODE BECAUSE OF STRESS. HE SAYS GET AN ATTORNEY... SHE SAYS I CAN'T MY ATTORNEY IS IN JAIL.....YOU GET THE IMPRESSION SHE'S THE LEEK 

SANTOS WAS TOLD TO STAY ON THE EDUCATION REFORM ISSUE. STAY AWAY FROM CREATION VS EVOLUTION. 

The gal next to Josh is the new spit fire the black haired gal. To the left of Josh is the one running Loe's life. She's so cute about it.Leo had to fly to a speecha nd he found out she hates to fly and take anxiety pills and two glasses of campaign to make the flight. She's been a cute pain in his side this campaign next shot is her sleeping in it off holding on to Leo's hand. it was cute!
